The buffer and spring elements of the STIHL anti-vibration system reduce the transmission of engine vibrations to the handle area and therefore to your body. Bar nuts are attached to the sprocket cover held, preventing the Bar nuts from getting lost of fall off when changing the cutting attachment.

If you often work in dusty conditions or if you use long guide bars, you can quickly and easily increase the oil quantity at any time with the new oil pump system.

Different bar lengths, wood types and sawing techniques require different amounts of oil. The controlled-delivery oil pump allows the user to select just the right amount of oil for the job.

By guiding the fuel-and-air mixture into the cylinder through four overflow channels in a precise and compressed manner, the engine burns the fuel optimally and boosts its performance significantly.
